TSM End Team Liquids Undefeated Streak In The LCS
By Zac Cameron ·
Everything comes to an end eventually, though Team Liquid fans would probably prefer they stayed on top for a while longer.

We saw it happen in Europe, and it happened in China as well. Now, North America’s top dog has finally found their maker as Team Liquid drop their undefeated streak after failing to take down TSM earlier today. Here’s a brief breakdown of the match.
Really, it all started with the picks and bans phase, as Team Liquid opted to lock in a first pick Yorick. Seizing the opportunity, TSM countered with Jax to try and establish a winning lane early on. with help from jungler Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham, TSM top laner Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik was able to get through the laning phase relatively unscathed.
TSM’s split-pushing power and a now stronger than expected Jax allowed them to slowly break apart the defenses from Team Liquid and push them back in almost every encounter. TSM’s strategy of keeping Team Liquid occupied while Broken Blade pushed the side lanes worked wonders in the end, as they whittled away until nothing was left. From there, all that remained was for a final push into the base to take down a few stragglers, then the match was finished along with the streak Team Liquid had worked so hard for.
TSM have now worked themselves back into a 4-4 record, with plenty of less intimidating opponents remaining in the Spring Split. Fans will be hoping they can continue this level of play and once again rise to the top of the LCS.
