Teep Responds to OpTic Gaming Fan's Criticism
By Nicholas Barth ·
The coach of the OpTic Gaming Call of Duty team took to Twitter to respond to the criticism he has been receiving lately from fans of the popular organization.

The fans of OpTic Gaming are some of the most passionate fans you will find in the world of esports. This passion can generate a great deal of praise for the organization’s teams when they are performing well. It can also generate a large amount of criticism towards the teams when they are not performing up to the standards set by fans.
Every member of the team can be the subject of this criticism, especially OpTic Gaming Call of Duty coach Tyler “Teep” Polchow who became the coach of the team for the Call of Duty: WWII season. The former pro player responded to the amount of criticism he has been receiving lately from fans, especially after the team’s 3-0 loss to Rise Nation that secured their 2nd place finish in Division B of the Pro League.
Jeez I almost feel like a player again, when things don’t go well I/We get toasted.

When things go well people don’t say much.
The boys got 2nd seed in Div A in pro league! Time to keep working hard for ATL. Flying out to the GGEA bootcamp tomorrow in Frisco :)
According to the feedback he was getting, Teep stated that it feels like he is competing as a player once again. He went on to remind the critical fans that the team just finished 2nd in arguable the toughest division in the entire Pro League. He also points out that when the team is not performing well people are quick to criticize, but when the team is performing well people tend to not speak on the matter as much.
OpTic Gaming will have a chance to silence the critics at Call of Duty World League (CWL) Atlanta from March 9th to the 11th, but will have a very tough road in doing so. The team will have to survive Group C that consists of eUnited, Team Kaliber and Team Vitality. With the talented OpTic squad not having won a LAN event so far in Call of Duty: WWII, many fans will be upset to see them go a third tournament in a row without a championship.
