TSM Myth and Liquid Vivid Are Not Fans of The Baller Fortnite Nerf

The v8.11 content update for Fortnite Battle Royale took place on Wednesday, March 20th and saw a whole host of changes be implemented for Fortnite. However, one of these changes has become a source of controversy in the community, as many players were not too fond of Epic Games reducing the spawn rate of The Baller vehicle from 100% to 50% with professional players Ali "Myth" Kabbani of Team SoloMid (TSM) and Noah "Vivid" Wright of Team Liquid being two of the most vocal of their displeasure with the change made to The Baller Fortnite vehicle.

While The Baller vehicle has been seen as an entertaining addition to the battle royale title by members of the community, professional players have not been too fond of the vehicle citing the tendency of players to use it in order to avoid combat into the late-game where a whole horde of the vehicle can often be found as very problematic.

With many professional players and others in the community being very vocal of their issues with The Baller Fortnite vehicle, Epic Games decided to address these complaints by cutting the spawn rate of the item in half. This change, however, was not well received by the likes of TSM Myth and Vivid of Team Liquid.

Team Liquid Vivid

PLEASE STOP with the 50% vehicle spawn rates for crying out loud.. I'm sorry but its just not a good answer. You make a vehicle and then nerf it by making it not spawn? Don't you think the fundamentals of the damn vehicle are improper if your solution is to make it not spawn????

TSM Myth

Okay pros, let's not ever complain about mobility vehicles again please. EPIC just keeps halfing their spawn rates and thinks its healthy for the game.

Both players stated in their statements addressing the v8.11 content update change to the spawn rate of The Baller Fortnite vehicle that the decrease from 100% to 50% was not the correct solution in their opinions and that the fix was not healthy for the state of the battle royale title.
