Dr DisRespect Says Fortnite is Making the Younger Generation 'Softer'

Guy "Dr DisRespect" Beahm is known as one of the most outspoken streamers on the popular platform of Twitch, as he is never shy to give his thoughts on a matter. One of the latest instances of Dr DisRespect giving a hot take during a Twitch stream was when he explained why he believed that the battle royale title of Fortnite is aiding in making the younger generation "soft".

Dr DisRespect has never been confused with being a fan of Fortnite.

While ironically playing Fortnite himself during his Twitch stream, Dr DisRespect went on to explain how the younger generation is getting "softer" and too sensitive. The high-profile Twitch personality then went on to state how Epic Games and the famous building mechanic they developed for Fortnite Battle Royale has contributed to making the younger generation "softer".

"The younger generation is getting softer, softer, and softer. More sensitivity out in the world. They're getting softer, softer, and softer, right. Just talking about the younger generation of kids, right. They're just kinda getting softer and softer. Mentally softer, softer, and softer, and these stupid ass developers (Epic Games) from North Carolina have contributed to that," said Dr DisRespect on his Twitch channel.

"Why? You get shot once in a regular military style or any Halo, old-school Call of Duty, any shooter, Quake, anything, right. Counter-Strike, anything that has to do with competitiveness, right," Dr DisRespect continued. "You have to deal with it right then and there. You know what I mean? Like, use your cover, peak, etc. This game, you get shot, it's f**kin seven walls up because I am scared to death, and I got a second chance. Right?"

With Dr DisRespect having vented his frustrations with Fortnite on plenty of occasions in the past, it is not surprising to see the popular twitch streamer once again provide a negative take on the battle royale title.

Do you agree with Dr DisRespect and his opinion that Fortnite is helping to make the younger generation "softer" to a negative degree or is the Twitch streamer wrong in his view on Fortnite? Let us know in the comments below!
