There is a lot of pressure on North America's Team Liquid to perform on the world stage, especially after a relatively dominant mainstage and spring championship.

Most eyes, however, will be on the potential rematch between Caps (who plays for G2 eSports) and Invictus Gaming. Last year, at the World Championship finals, Invictus Gaming brutally swept the European mid-laner and his then Fanatic squad. This year, Caps heads to MSI 2019 with a wonderfully stacked team in G2 Esports, making his first real chance at Redemption a rather promising one.

Riot Games has yet to reveal all of the details regarding prize money or complete schedule for the event.

The entire tournament will be streamed live on the Riot Games Twitch channel and will run for three weeks in May ending with a Grand Finals match on May 19th. It’s going to be an epic tournament to crown international champions in the middle of the 2019 calendar year.
