The Internet Reacts to the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Trailer

Our first look at the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie has arrived, and the Internet had plenty to say about evert facet of the first trailer.
The first trailer for the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie has zoomed onto the internet, and along with it came a sonic boom of reactions from across the web. Social media blew up with alll kinds of opinions, from excitement to praise to bewilderment to straight ujp fear. We’ve compiled some of the best right here, so take a look and see where you fit in.

Some folks immediately comparing it to another upcoming movie, Detective Pikachu:

After a box office & critical success of "Sonic the Hedgehog" Paramount pictures continues to release a new Sonic movie every year that, despite critical failure, keeps fans of the 1st movie coming back claiming "They'll make an original Sonic this time"

Despite the range of feelings across social media, the trailer found itself as the #1 trending video on YouTube for a short while, so it must have done something right. We won’t know how good the movie is until it comes out, but right now the internet is feeling the speed.
