Harbleu Parts Ways With Kungarna

Kungarna barely missed out on qualifying for Overwatch Contenders, as the team finished third in Overwatch Contenders: Trials. Soon after,  Anthony "Harbleu" Ballo announced on his Twitter account that he will be leaving the organization.

We fall a bit short of qualifying for contenders, had a blast playing with everyone on Kungarna and been enjoying competing again. Looking for a team to continue scrimming and improving with, not done yet! DS3 tomorrow and more streams ahead!

Harbleu stated that he will be "Looking for a team to continue scrimming and improving with, not done yet! DS3 tomorrow and more streams ahead!"

The veteran of the professional Overwatch scene has been a member of multiple organizations during his playing career. The list includes the likes of Luminosity Gaming, compLexity Gaming, NRG, Gale Force and Team SoloMid. The majority of his success came with compLexity, as he was able to secure top finishes at Dreamhack Winter 2016, MLG Vegas 2016 and the Overwatch Winter Premiere. With a talented skill set as a flex player using mostly Roadhog and Zarya, any organization that is able to acquire the services of Harbleu will be adding a very experienced player to their roster.

Overwatch Contenders is the main developmental league for the Overwatch League and is where organizations are looking for potential players to sign to their rosters. Players who have not yet been signed to a league team are doing their best to make their way into Contenders in order to have a stronger chance of having their talent and play noticed. As of now, Harbleu will not be in Overwatch Contenders, but it will not be surprising to see him on a Contenders roster sooner than later with his skill set and determination.
