How to Watch the League of Legends MSI 2019 Group Stage
By Wyatt Fossett ·
We're in the endgame now. The main event live from Vietnam begins early Friday morning and we've got your guide on how to catch the action.

With only six of the best teams in the world left at the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational, it’s time for the main event. This is your guide on catching the action live (or in VOD) from MSI 2019.
Some of these squads will be playing for the first time in Vietnam, as G2 Esports, SK Telecom T1, and Invictus Gaming all auto-qualified for the final stage of the tournament. The other three, Team Liquid, Flash Wolves, and Phong Vu Buffalo all came out of the play-in stage, though the hometown PVB has been playing for quite a while now.
Only four of these six teams will earn a spot in the knockout playoff bracket that will decide the winner, and crown the best team on Earth at the mid-season mark.
Who’s Playing Who and When?
Luckily for us, lolesports has been all over the graphics and information this MSI, and have whipped up these really awesome images that show the entire group stage schedule for every team. So we’ll go team by team.
All times listed on the graphics show game-start times in Pacific Time and Central Time zones.
Phong Vu Buffalo
The hometown heroes will walk away from MSI 2019 with the adoration and pride of their nation lifting them off the ground, no matter their final placement. To be next to these other five teams changes the public perception of PVB as a whole.
SK Telecom T1
Mata was critical of his mid-laners form a few weeks prior to the LCK Spring Split Finals, but Faker stepped up and led his team to victory in the end. Now, the pair of storied League of Legends players will have to prove once again that they are back to their dominant form.
Flash Wolves
With the departure of their longest serving pro players, the Flash Wolves of today have large shoes to fill in terms of their fans perspectives. They defeated Vega Squadron in the play-in knockouts, and while they seemed a tiny bit shaky out the gate, the Flash Wolves handled their opponents and are left looking up at the giants in the Group Stage.
G2 Esports
Some thought shifting Perkz to the bot-lane in order to make way for Worlds 2018 Runner-up Caps was a crazy move, but this G2 Esports team might be the craziest (in terms of talent and execution) team that EU has ever seen. With word that star support player Mikyx will be cleared to play on the international stage, G2's hopes are high.
Team Liquid
In the same light as the team from G2 Esports, this Team Liquid went from the kings of Norther America, to one of the scariest teams in the world with the addition of a carry in mid-lane, and a World Champion at support. Inarguably, Team Liquid has the best bot-lane at MSI 2019, and it’s about time that Doublelift crushes that international curse that he has fought through his whole career.
Invictus Gaming
The conversation leading up to this tournament has revolved around Invictus Gaming vs SK Telecom, and rightfully so. This IG hasn’t changed in line-up since winning the League of Legends World Championship in 2018, and they are looking to make it back-to-back international championships in a row.
