Riot Games Reveals All Regional 2019 Summer Split Start Dates
By Wyatt Fossett ·
We finally have some official dates for the start of the 2019 Summer Splits across all professional League of Legends regions.

While the world is still running on minimal sleep and extensive levels of excitement, most teams in professional League of Legends are looking to the future. More specifically, the 2019 Summer Split. For every team but MSI 2019 Champions G2 Esports, the Summer season is the first place to begin their tale of redemption.
During the grand finals in Taipei, Riot Games revealed the start dates for all of the Summer Splits, across all of the regions.
Things are going to get going pretty quickly here, as teams that played in this weekend’s MSI Knockout Playoffs will only have just over a week of rest at the least before the 2019 Summer Split begins.
Firstly, Team Liquid and the LCS will get back to regular season action on June 1st, just under two weeks from now. Teams in the LCS have been pretty busy in the off-season, with 100 Thieves shoring up a veteran jungler, and Counter-Logic Gaming part ways with their long-standing leader Darshan.
G2 Esports, carrying their new hardware, will see their new season in the LEC kick-off on June 7th. Other EU teams have a lot of work to do in order to catch up to this extremely powerful super-team. Some teams, like Rogue who is performing a rebuild, may have to look beyond 2019 for their opportunity to compete in this crazy region.
The LCK (Korea) will begin on June 5th, and the LPL (China) will start on June 1st. For a full breakdown of the region's Summer Split start dates, see this handy graphic that Riot Games wiped up.
These past few weeks have been enthralling competitive League of Legends, but there is plenty more excitement on rift coming this calendar year.
