The Call of Duty community received major news on Friday, May 24th when it was reported that the name of the new entry in the popular first-person shooter franchise for the year of 2019 would be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and that it would reportedly be a soft reboot of the Modern Warfare series. This major revelation was accompanied by a major leak of a possible reveal date for the new game that suggests players will get their first look at the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title for 2019 during a reveal date that is fast approaching.
New Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reveal Date
According to a report by Gaming INTEL, the reveal date for the new 2019 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be taking place on Thursday, May 30th. In its report, Gaming INTEL states that the sources who informed them of this possible date for the upcoming game were the same sources who previously leaked the information that the 2019 entry in the franchise would not be Modern Warfare 4 which has been supported by various other sources in the video game industry.
With it being prime time for the introduction of the next entry in the franchise when compared to previous reveals, the date of Thursday, May 30th is not a surprising time to see the new 2019 installment be officially introduced to the community.
It is currently unknown exactly how the introduction of the new Call of Duty title will play out. Last year's reveal of Black Ops 4 took place in two different parts with a teaser being released ahead of a full-scale reveal event for Black Ops 4. Due to the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 reveal being handled by Infinity Ward instead of Treyarch, it is highly possible that the date for the announcement of this year's entry will take on a different form.
We will update this guide with any information regarding the official 2019 reveal date for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game when it is first made available.
