By Nicholas Barth ·
Friday Fortnite organizer KEEMSTAR announced Ninja and PewDiePie will be a team for the next edition of the event.
Friday, June 31st saw the highly anticipated return of the fan-favorite Friday Fortnite tournament series thanks to the efforts of YouTuber Daniel "KKEMSTAR" Keem, FaZE Clan owner Ricky "Banks" Banks, and competitive gaming platform UMG. Thanks to its bracket filled with some of the world's most popular personalities from the gaming world and other entertainment industries, the first Friday Fortnite tournament saw truly impressive viewership numbers across Twitch and YouTube. However, it is highly like that these viewership numbers will be broken very easily in Week 2 of Friday Fortnite, as Tyler "Ninja" Belvins and Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg have been announced as one of the competing teams.

Ninja will likely be carrying the load of securing the most kills in order to give himself and PewDiePie the best chance of having a strong tournament run. However, the king of YouTube will certainly be bringing a monumental amount of viewers to see the two legendary content creators play together in what could arguably be the most high-profile team up of influencers in history when considering Ninja's 14 million Twitch followers, 22 million YouTube subscribers and PewDiePie's 97 million YouTube subscribers.
