League of Legends Teamfight Tactics Game Mode Coming to PBE Soon
By Wyatt Fossett ·
Riot Games is developing and releasing into the PBE a League of Legends based Auto Chess game.

There’s a lot of love right now for the Defence of the Ancients 2 mod and sub-mode titled Auto Chess. So much so that Valve (the makers of Dota 2) finally decided to kick the original creators to the curb and make their own version called Underlords.
Now, Riot Games is bringing in their special game-mode designers to add a bit of fun on the side in the same theme as Auto Chess, but for League of Legends fans.
What is Teamfight Tactics?
Little Legends
Introducing something fresh to the opponent-facing presentation of League of Legends’ Teamfight Tactics are the Little Legends.
These adorable little creatures and things are the in-game representation of the players themselves. They will be the face of your in-game emotes and presumably more.
The evolution of these Little Legends are found in loot boxes that will cost a few hundred RP each, and these Little Legends will also creep into some of the other game modes in League of Legends starting with the Howling Abyss, where Riot says they will cheer you on from the sidelines.
League of Legends’ Teamfight Tactics will be hitting the Public Beta Environment very soon (maybe in the next few days). According to the reveal post on the League of Legends site, the team expects Teamfight Tactics to possibly hit the public realm come the game’s Patch 9.13 update.
