Before the LCS 2019 Summer Split started, there was a lot of talk about who would be the stars of this split. Most would have chosen Team Liquid, as they have ruled and won the last three straight LCS splits. However, there have been some surprises through the first 6 games of the split so far. Teams like Liquid and TSM starting off 2-2 before both having 2-0 weekends this week.

It’s also pretty shocking that Counter-Logic Gaming, Golden Guardians, and OpTic Gaming are all in 1st place alongside the heavyweights of the LCS. At this point, it’s hard to tell which of these teams are taking a bit to get going *cough* Team Liquid *cough* and which of these teams began the season with some luck.

It’s pretty mathematically improbable that a league with an even 10 teams within it would also have a six-way tie for any pole position.

Looking ahead to next week there are three teams tied for the bottom of the pile, and a large amount of teams that will most-likely shift out of 1st place tie.  Cloud9 and CLG are the only two teams in that six-way tie that are playing losing teams, the other four are all playing each other. So there will be some separation in the standings come the completion of Week 4.

Who do you think deserves to stay in first place in the LCS?
