By Zac Cameron ·
The 100 Thieves squad have gained an early advantage over Clutch Gaming, winning the first game in this semi-final series.

100 Thieves have certainly not lost a step during their week off, taking down Clutch Gaming in game one of this semi-finals series. Here’s a brief breakdown of the match.
100 Thieves claim first blood after an aggressive lane gank on the top side, though Clutch Gaming do respond on the bot side by securing the first Dragon of the match. Both teams continued to pressure the lanes where they felt they had strength, with 100 Thieves securing the Rift Herald, while Clutch Gaming dove the bot side to pick up two kills for themselves.
The teams continued to clash in the bot lane, with both picking up another kill before pulling back in the face of reinforcements. Though Clutch Gaming appeared to have the bot side locked down, 100 Thieves lived up to their name, stealing away the second Dragon of the game before pulling back safely.
Clutch Gaming continued to focus on the bot side, claiming the first turret of the match as both teams looked for valuable vision control of the river. 100 Thieves replied by rushing the turret in the top lane, before rotating to take down the mid and bot lane outer turrets as well. While Clutch Gaming attempted to respond by taking down the top turret, 100 Thieves moved to secure their second Dragon of the match to keep the tempo going. A team fight breaks out in the mid lane with 100 Thieves turning on Clutch Gaming and claiming a kill before both teams withdraw slightly to test the waters. 100 Thieves make the call to rush the Baron, securing the buff before picking up yet another kill as Clutch Gaming came to contest the objective.
With the power of the Baron buff, 100 Thieves push in the mid lane and take down another turret before moving to the bot side to push out the lane there. With an empowered cannon minion and the Baron buff ticking down, 100 Thieves break open the base of Clutch Gaming and destroy the inhibitor in the bot lane before moving to secure their third Dragon of the match. Rotating to the top side, 100 Thieves take down the final outer turret before moving to push the top and mid lanes simultaneously. The teams clash in the jungle around mid-lane, with Clutch Gaming quickly picking up a kill, though when they attempt to chase they are quickly overwhelmed, losing two members as 100 Thieves move into the base and destroy the nexus.
100 Thieves have lived up to their name, stealing any chance of victory away from Clutch Gaming with their superior map rotations. Closing out the game in just over 35 minutes after amassing a gold lead of over 7k, 100 Thieves showcased why they were able to claim first place in the NA LCS regular season.
