Viewers of day one of Stage Two managed to donate over $121, 243 worth of Twitch Bits over the course of the broadcast.

Fans of the Overwatch League have jumped on the new opportunities afforded them with the unveiling of a new Twitch.tv feature that allows viewers to donate Bits to cheer for their favourite teams. Previously viewers could donate Bits to the broadcast as a whole, but now are able to donate to a tally that keeps track of exactly how much each team earns while playing.

The first day of Stage Two, which coincided with the launch of this feature, managed to accumulate a whopping 10,358,822 Bits at time of writing. With a tally board that keeps track of exactly how many Bits have been donated to each team, fans are able to track how their teams are doing, and add to the total if they wish.

Additionally, Blizzard are offering rewards at key milestones, with the first one being an Overwatch League Home Skin for the Hero Tracer. Additionally, players are able to earn in game emotes for various Overwatch Heroes.

The money from these Bits will go to the partnership between Twitch.tv and Blizzard, creators of the Overwatch League.
