The Beta for Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) Online is currently in full swing as Playstation 4 and Xbox One players are currently living their outlaw fantasies with their friends. However, knowing how to invite your friends in order for them to play Red Dead Redemption 2 Online with you so that you all can form the best posse on the server is not a straightforward process. How to Invite Friends to Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) Online
In order to invite friends to play with you in the latest hit title from Rockstar Games players will need to open up the free roam menu and select the posse section on the menu. The free roam menu can be accessed by pressing left on the directional pad for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Players will then need to press X or square to begin forming a group of players.
Once you have made it this far players will only need to select the Invite to Posse option where they will be given the ability to invite their Red Dead Redemption 2 friends and other players and begin their adventures.
There are two different kinds of RDR2 posses that players can invite their friends to in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. The first RDR2 posse type is the temporary version that can have up to four players and does not cost any money to make. Once the RDR2 posse leader leaves then temporary posse will be disbanded.
Red Dead Redemption 2 players can also invite their friends form a persistent posse that can consist of up to seven players but will cost the leader $200 to set up. This Red Dead Redemption 2 posse version will be saved and reformed whenever the leader is online. RDR2 Online stats and awards are tracked for the persistent posse and the style of the band of outlaws can be customized to show off the posse's unique style.
