Dance Floors Found Across the Fortnite Map, Ready for End of the World Party?

Across the Fortnite map, multiple dance floors complete with glitter ball and disco lights have been discovered. Could these be in preparation for an end of the world party thanks to the meteor hurtling through the sky?

Dance Floors Found Across the Fortnite Map, Ready for End of the World Party?

Patch v3.5 has brought a host of changes to Fortnite today, including a new grenade called the Port-a-Fort that spawns a metal tower as soon as it deploys, and the long-awaited Replay System where budding videographers can edit and upload their epic and intense moments. One addition that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the patch notes though, is the various discos and dance floors, or pista de bailes as the Spanish would say, that have popped up throughout the map.

Three dance floor locations; Haunted House, Caravan Park, and Flush Factory.

There seems to be three in total, that we’ve pointed out on the map above. One is in the mansion, or haunted house as some people refer to it, to the west of Pleasant Park or south-east from Haunted Hills. The second is to the east of Retail Row in the barn by the caravan park, while the third is in the corner of Flush Factory, in the fenced off building to the south-east, over the walkway.

Nobody knows yet exactly what these dance floors are for. Could it be for a challenge in one of the three remaining weeks? Maybe there will be a special event to celebrate life before the assumed end of the world when the meteor collides with the island? The recent skins that were datamined with the latest update showcase some prehistoric stuff, which could very much imply the meteor could be sort of a reverse extinction, where all the humans are obliterated and replaced with dinosaurs and potentially aliens, across a barren and mountainous map. It’d certainly spice up season four.

As of right now, everything is just speculation, but the dance floors are dropping some fire beats, so head down and wiggle or electro shuffle to the tunes before heading off again to murder some more people. Or if you’re tired of the Fortnite fad, why not try out another battle royale title?
