Watch Ninja Get Stream Sniped During Fortnite Winter Royale Qualifiers
By Ford James ·
While competing in the Fortnite Winter Royale qualifiers, Ninja got stream sniped... and this time it's not a false accusation.

Last week, we covered the story of how one Fortnite player set out to frame Ninja by making it appear like Ninja could get players banned at the click of a finger. The story has died down now since it’s now been revealed that Ninja was actually innocent in the situation, but believe it or not, one player tried to actually stream snipe him during the Fortnite Winter Royale - while they were streaming themselves.
Ninja was in Greasy Grove, hiding in the middle shop for a few minutes when JSaturn0 started shooting at him through the wall. You’d think that JSaturn0 saw Ninja run in and was waiting for him to leave before engaging but grew impatient, right? It’s a plausible scenario except that as soon as he started shooting, JSaturn0 started shouting about how it was Ninja he was shooting at. It’s in Spanish but check the clip out for yourself below.
There’s a couple of things to note here. At the start of the match, he exclaimed that Ninja had 150k viewers at the time. JSaturn0 also knew that Ninja was in his game because his chat told him right at the start. According to Reddit user /u/Arquerito, his viewers then started to tell him where Ninja was in his game, but JSaturn0 asked them to not tell him because it will put him off his game. He still acted upon the information though and knew exactly where Ninja was, despite Ninja being in the same room for a few minutes.
If you pay close attention, at the start of the clip, you can also see JSaturn0’s hands move back to his mouse. In the Reddit thread about the clip, commenters speculated that he had Ninja’s stream open on his other system used for streaming and that he was watching Ninja make his moves.
Finally, whether he was stream sniping or he wasn’t, one thing is confirmed: JSaturn0 didn’t have the two minute stream delay enabled. That goes against Epic’s rules for the Winter Royale and as such, his placement should be considered invalid. He placed 130th overall with three wins and 29 points, the same as TSM Myth. It’s on Epic now to act upon this and do the right thing. Ninja was hesitant to call it stream sniping because of the debacle earlier this month which is understandable, but there’s no beating around the bush with this; JSaturn0 was breaking the rules.
