League of Legends European Masters Semifinals Results
By Wyatt Fossett ·
After some impressive dominance from the Semifinals day at Leicester, the EU Masters Grand Finals are set.

After some very intense Quarterfinal action last weekend, the entire EU region's best had been dwindled down to only four League of Legends squads.
Who will be crowned the 2019 EU Masters? Find out tomorrow as the winners from today’s Semifinals will face-off live on stage at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre, in Leicester, England.
MAD Lions Tamed
The wondrously talented and fun to watch MAD Lions E.C. were the only non-LEC family team to make it out of groups and through the insanity that was the Quarterfinals. Unfortunately for Lion’s faithful, UK Visa issues would keep their epic top-laner, Pavle “Yoppa” Kostić, from traveling to the finals. So they would have to play a substitute.

Unfortunately, MAD Lions were unable to secure a UK visa for Pavle “Yoppa” Kostić to play in Leicester this weekend. Their substitute, Palens, is eligible to play and has been moved to their starting roster for the remainder of the event.
Not that their replacement for Yoppa was the only fault of the MAD Lions, who wound up merely yawning in the only ray of sunlight on the floor, instead of fighting for their chance to play in the EU Masters Grand Finals.
Worse yet, Misfits Premier truly showed up today and wiped the floor with their competition. Every inch of the rift on Saturday belonged to the Premier League team from the Misfits organization. With the dominance, Misfits Premier punched their ticket to the Grand Finals where they will face the winner of the SK Gaming Prime versus Fnatic Rising match.
The Rise and Fall of Fnatic
The Premier League team of the illustrious Fnatic franchise (that made it all the way to Worlds Grand Finals last year) had a great run through the group stage. They even managed to take it to the Misfits Premier team that advanced to the Grand Finals earlier in the day. The story was not in the books for Fnatic Rising, as they just couldn’t keep up with the speed and ferocity of a very hungry SK Gaming Prime team.

Even though both of the games in the 2-0 sweep by SK Gaming Prime were theirs pretty much the whole way through, it was a bonfire of great League of Legends.
Grand Finals Sunday
After the extensive group stages, and now two rounds of playoff elimination brackets, we’re finally down to two teams.
Tomorrow, on April 28th, the battle for European Mastery will take place between SK Gaming Prime and Misfits Premier, two teams with extensive ties to the next big stage in professional League of Legends.
In an important tale of hero growth, the mainstage of the EU Masters Grand Finals is going to be a huge jumping off point for these young careers. With the Misfits LEC team having a bit of a rough run through the Spring Split this year, it could be time for some EU Masters to take the reins on that franchise.
