Treasure location, how to summit mountain peaks - Fortnite Week 6 Challenge Guide

It’s Thursday folks, and everyone knows what that means - new weekly battle pass challenges! This week, the challenges are fairly self explanatory, but we’ve got a few hints and tips for anyone who needs a helping hand to complete them.

First up, is the ‘summit different mountain peaks’ challenge. You’ve got to do 10 of them all together, and the map is littered with mountains. Simply climb one to the top, whether it has a path with natural terrain or if you have to build up to it, and when you reach the right spot, you’ll throw down your personal banner on a flagpole. It’s pretty simple as there’s so many mountains throughout the map, but it will take a good few games to complete.

Next up is the treasure. We’ve marked the location in red on the map above, but if you’re still struggling, head west across the river from Shifty Shafts, and climb the relatively small hill. The treasure can be found in the centre.

As for the rest of the challenges, here’s some tips:

• For explosive weapon kills, grenades also count, and they’re by far the most common, so you don’t need to get lucky with one of the rarer weapons to complete this challenge.
• SMGs have a very rapid fire rate and are good at close to medium range; they’re especially good at finishing off downed enemies if you’re playing duos or squads.
• Some new chests have been added to Anarchy Acres to help you complete the challenge, so have a look in spots that you haven’t previously found any loot in.
• Cozy Campfires heal the entire square that you’re in, including above it, so you can build a staircase above it and peer over the top while you get healed.
• In Retail Row, stick to the buildings, as you can be seen very easily if you’re patrolling the middle of the street.

It’s another fairly easy week for challenges, so get your game on and you’ll have them done in no time. If you’re still completing last week’s, take a look at our guide. Fortnite has been busy today too, so check out our summary of the patch notes and changes, along with some datamined skins that should be coming to the game soon.
