Fortnite Search the Hidden Gnome Locations, Retail Row Treasure Map
By Ford James ·
Week 7 of the Fortnite Battle Pass has started, and we've got the lowdown on where to find the treasure indicated by the map in Retail Row, and we explain how to find the hidden gnomes.

It’s Thursday, so that means it’s another week for the Fortnite battle pass! The past couple of weeks have been fairly straightforward so this week is back to some harder stuff, including searching gnomes in different named locations and killing people with suppressed weapons. Fear no more however, as we’ve got the guide for how to complete every challenge.
Follow the treasure map in Retail Row
Check the map above - the yellow dot in the centre of Wailing Woods indicates the treasure location. To be more specific, if you come through the south entrance into the hedge maze, then hug the wall round to the left, the treasure can be found in a small dead-end straight ahead of you, against the western hedge.
Search the Hidden Gnomes in different Named Locations
People have been reporting across the internet that you complete this challenge by building brick walls and hoping a gnome randomly spawns in place of some of the bricks, but we can confirm that isn't the case. There are gnomes hidden across the map, and the map above indicates all their locations with red markers. They're very well hidden, such as in the corner behind bath tubs and such, so make sure you comb every inch of the buildings we mark if you can't find them straight away.
Search a Chest, Ammo Box & Supply Drop in a single match
Below this challenge is a 0/3 icon, implying you have to complete this task three times. You don’t, you only have to do it once, and the 0/3 represents one chest, one ammo box, and one supply drop. It’s fairly simple; look out for the sometimes inconspicuous ammo boxes found underneath staircases and on shelves, and listen out for the beeping call of a supply drop landing near you. We’d recommend building beneath the supply drop so it can float into your hut and you have some cover while looting it.
Search Chests in Lonely Lodge
Another straightforward one, but check the map above for locations of all the chests in Lonely Lodge. Don’t forget about the three that can potentially spawn at the top of the lookout tower, and the ones hidden in the roofs of the small huts.
Deal damage with Shotguns to opponents
Very simple, not much we can say here. Acquire shotgun, get close to someone, shoot them in the face.
Suppressed Weapon eliminations
There’s two types of suppressed weapons this is simple with; submachine guns and pistols. Neither are particularly powerful weapons, but if you have a rapid trigger finger, a few pistol bullets to the head can drop people very quickly. Consider swapping your shotgun for it until you’ve completed the challenge.
Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts
The key element to Shifty Shafts is cranking your headphones up and listening out for footsteps. There’s often two or three vertical levels in this mazy mineshaft, so play carefully and stalk your enemies till you can get the jump on them. We can’t advocate corner camping, but there are a lot of sneaky corners here…
And that’s it for week seven! Challenges ticked off the list and we can get back to putting our tinfoil hat on and worrying about the comet in the sky. If you’re still struggling with last week’s challenges, check out our guide here, and if you need explosive kills, remember the High Explosives v2 mode has just started and you can get the kills there.
