Who created Apex Legends? That is the question many players are currently asking about the new battle royale title that has taken the video game world by storm.

The first full week of February has seen a new battle royale title begin its quest to becoming the next hit title in the world of video games. This title is Apex Legends, and its sudden reveal and release on Monday, February 4th has seen a surge in popularity for Apex Legends with already over eight millions players playing the game. With many of the most popular streamers on Twitch also playing the title on a consistent basis since its release, a great deal of interest has been brought to the battle royale title. This interest has led to many questions surrounding the game with one focused on the people behind the creation of the now popular game. Who Created Apex Legends?

Who Created Apex Legends?

The answer to the question of who created Apex Legends is found by looking at the developer of the Titanfall first person shooter franchise in Respawn Entertainment. Having already developed Titanfall and Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment had been secretly working on the development of a battle royale title and inserted it into its Titanfall universe.

Many members of the video game community believed that the next game to be created by Respawn Entertainment would be the third entry in the Titanfall franchise. However, reports began to come in before Super Bowl LIII that the next title to be created by Respawn Entertainment would be a battle royale title set in the Titanfall franchise.

These reports would then be confirmed on February 4th when Respawn Entertainment officially revealed that they had created this particular battle royale game and would then go on to release the game to the public on the same day.

Who Created Apex Legends? This question has been a popular one for many players with Apex Legends not having any marketing build up to its release, and Respawn Entertainment itself not officially revealing it was the developer behind the latest newcomer to the battle royale genre until the very last moment.

With the battle royale game's success so far, it will likely be hard to find someone who is not pleased that Respawn Entertainment is the developer to have created Apex Legends
